Eli rolled over . . .

and G forgot to tell me!!!!  That's right, turns out Eli started rolling from back to tummy last Saturday!!!  G assumed I knew, that there was no way Eli did it for the first time with him, so he failed to mention it.  I only happened to learn last night when I heard G telling Eli to roll over again, and he did!!!  Boys!  I'm with the little stinker all the time but he saved that fun first for his daddy :)  Guess it's only fair since I witnessed Alli's first roll.  He's not thrilled to be on his tummy but is not doing it at night so no middle of the night pages . . . yet.  I'm sure that will come just like it did with Alli.

In Alli news, last weekend's trip to Boston seems to have turned her into a mini monster who throws these incredible tantrums.  Truly hoping this is a very quick phase!  When she's nice, she's very nice but when she's naughty, watch out!!!  I guess my mom's wish came true . . . I had a daughter just like me ;-)

  1. Okay, what the heck happened on the trip to Boston? Bad trips there and home? How did the trip turn Alli into a mini monster? Oh my goodness, sounds like it was crazy! Hope you and G are surviving okay!! Yay for Eli for rolling over! So so wonderful! Love those firsts! How is your holiday shopping coming along? I was so late getting my cards out the door - having a little one certainly slowed me down a little this year. Love to you guys! We still haven't figured out the timeline for our trip yet, but we are planning to come see you all!!! :)

  2. Wishing you had a daughter just like you was always meant as a compliment! Alli is an absolute doll and she brings back so many wonderful memories of the times I spent with you. It's almost like have a second chance to relive all the wonderful times again. I love you!! Mom

  4. Okay Tiff, so funny you mentioned Love and Logic, that's our "go to" as well. I have to say the "room time" is getting shorter :) Yikes though!

Michelle ~ no way to adequately describe the trip (I'll call you!) but if I never get on a plane with those two again, that would be okay ;-) Sadly, my shopping is still a work in progress but I'm getting there. These little ones keep me busy so I completely understand the cards, ours went out late too but they are on the way finally.
