Daddy Daughter Dance

The third year of the Daddy-Daughter Dance was a huge hit!

Alli could not wait to wear her new, fancy, pink dress.

The sun was shining, it was warm and Daddy and Alli were so excited for their big date!

Alli felt like such a little princess that she had to show off her graceful dance moves in the street.

Of course, no dance would be complete without Mommy taking loads of pictures of Alli with her date! 

I think it is safe to say Alli is definitely a Daddy's girl!!!

Eli, on the other hand, was not interested in posing for any pictures ~ he wanted to get back to his cars!!!

No real pictures from the dance itself as Daddy and Alli were too busy dancing and giggling.

I hear that Alli really has some moves now!

After the dance, the two enjoyed some yummy frozen yogurt with the Huber gals.

Alli said it was an awesome night and both had lots of fun!

Loving the warm sunshine!

Seems so long since we have seen sunshine and felt warm enough to enjoy it so we are taking full advantage!!! Monday morning, while Luke napped, Eli and I played outside. E was so happy in his sandbox, staying out there until lunch. We are ready for Spring (and Summer!). Love the outside play.

Fun in the backyard

 With the weather getting warmer, the kiddos couldn't wait to play outside again.

After swim lessons, while Mommy was supposed be cooking dinner (apparently taking pictures is more fun!)

the three little fish decided to all play together in the backyard.  

This was the first time Lukey showed any interest in the push truck, so of course Eli had to hop in!

Turns out baby brother is pretty good at pushing the truck for a fun ride while big sis supervises ;-)

There was lots of fun playtime in the sandbox two.

Needless to say, hands needed some serious scrubbing before dinner but it was fun,
and so nice to see Luke crack a smile since he's been feeling so lousy lately.

We're hoping this nice weather is hear to stay!!!

A yummy after school treat

As part of her school's reading program, Alli earned various prizes, including a BOGO free frozen yogurt coupon. I decided to take the munchkins there for a treat after school on Wednesday. The bigs loved it and I scored some major Mommy points. The little refused to even take a bite, deciding that walking laps around the place was way more fun :-). Oh well, can't please everyone I guess.

100th Day of Kindergarten!!!

Today is Alli's

100th day of Kindergarten

Alli thought the occasion called for a special dress, and Mommy was happy to oblige :-)

Worked out great since she has had casual dress all week thanks to the auction.

Of course, no photo shoot would be complete without a silly face . . .  

It's hard to believe our baby girl is this far into Kindergarten and will soon be in 1st Grade.

Our baby is now a toddler!!!

That's right, our sweet baby Lukey is now

WALKING ON HIS OWN

The little turkey has taken a step here and there but just had no interest.

Until last Friday,

and by Saturday, he was toddling everywhere!

 Obviously, we are very excited (and a bit relieved!) but also a little sad as this is our last baby.

Life should get even more interesting from here on out ;-)

Lukey, you took your sweet time with walking,

mastering it at 16 months, 2 days old,

but you look like a pro now!!!

Sweet, Silly Brothers

Eli has been infatuated with Lukey since they day he was born,

as they both get older, they are becoming pretty good buddies and now love to play together.

Though they are both working on the concept of sharing ;-)

Yep, I'm THAT mom, I love the matching outfits!

Love these sweet, sometimes sassy and always silly little guys.

What happened to our baby???

It seems like he has become a toddler over night!

 

This adorable little man is as sweet and cuddly as can be but don't let that darling smile fool you,

he can be quite the little fuss bucket and he wants what he wants when he wants it!

Gee, wonder who he gets that from?  Must have learned from his big sis

It certainly couldn't be his laid back, go with the flow Mommy ;-)

Ha!

 

Luke is such a little joy and the perfect completion to our family!

Do you want to join our pirate crew?

The Fisher boys (and girl too!) are huge fans of Jake and the Neverland Pirates.

We own every Fisher Price Neverland toy they make, I think.

Needless to say, the boys spend oodles of time playing pirates.

Mommy and Daddy are often recruited to play Captain Hook for the big battle.

Alli and Eli sometimes run from Lukey calling him Tick Tock Croc.

Good thing he doesn't understand yet!

It is so fun watching the kiddos play together.



The Seamstress

Alli LOVES sewing and has been having fun with her new sewing machine.

Today she made the mattress and blankets for her new doll bunkbed.

She is thrilled and pretty talented!

Maybe she'll give Mommy a few lessons one of these days :-)
