Twas the night before Kindergarten . . .

Today was a fabulous "last day of summer vacation" for our soon to be Kindergarten girl!
As a special treat to celebrate our baby girl's "big school" beginning, we took her out for dinner
at Godfather's Pizza ~ her choice!
As you can see in the above video, she had a great time and is excited for the big day tomorrow :-)

The day started out with her getting up early and telling me she now has three loose teeth ~ whoa!
When she went to bed last night, there was only one and now there are three and one feels like it will come out at any moment . . . seriously, what happened to our baby girl?!?!?!

As a fun treat, she got to spend much of the day with her buddies Taylor and Lizzy crafting galore.
She also spent lots of time playing and snuggling with Miss Kaitlyn . . .
I think the love and joy just oozes in these pictures!!!
We love you Miss Kaitlyn!

After relaxing a bit, it was off to dinner where Alli (and her brothers!)
thoroughly enjoyed their pizza and dessert, as well as the rides and games . . .

The folks at Godfather's made our kids' night by letting them have free dessert pizza from the buffet.
They each wanted mini pizzas so we didn't get the buffet but didn't want to order a whole dessert pizza.
I asked if we could just pay for Eli to get the buffet so we could get a slice for them and the manager said it was on the house ~ A & E were thrilled!

Once we got home, we played in the yard before getting ready for bed.

We really wanted to get a family picture but had no one to take it so had to settle for an iPhone pic
Not the best quality but we had to document our last night as a family of little tikes (i.e. no big schoolers yet)

So here she is on her last night before joining the world of school-age children . . .
Allison Nicole Fisher,
We love you so much and are so excited to watch as you begin this new adventure.
We know you will do amazingly well in Kindergarten and look forward to hearing all about your first day.
We love you to the moon and back sweet girl!!!
Love,
Mommy, Daddy, Eli & Lukey

Luke: 10 months

Is it really possible that our sweet baby boy
Luke Daniel
is 10 months old already???
He cannot believe it either!

Okay, so he was less than impressed with his photo shoot this month.
Kaitlyn helped by trying to convince him to stand but he was a bit lazy ;-)

He was a bit happier when I put him in the chair . . .

On his 10 month birthday, Luke finally got tooth #4
{top, right side tooth}
Still no top middle teeth, instead, we have a baby Dracula, which is very cute!

At 10 months, Luke is a happy little guy most of the time.
He loves to be on the move, though he is still doing the army crawl
~ perhaps he will be special forces in the military ;-)

He finally sat up for the first time by himself last Friday ~ YEAH!
He's only done it three times but at least we know he can do it.

At 10 months, Luke is still adored by his big siblings and they love holding and snuggling him.
Eli wants to go get him every morning and Luke gives him big smiles.

There are times with Luke is not quite sure what to think of his older siblings,

but most of the time Lukey adores playing with the "bigs" and giggles nonstop.

How can you not adore this adorable little face???

At 10 months, Luke is still taking two solid naps most days and is not too happy when tired.
Most nights, he goes to bed around 7 or 7:30, wakes around 5:30 or 6 to eat
and then is up for the day between 6:30 and 7.
I say most nights because there have a been a few lately where he doesn't want to go down at bedtime
or thinks it would be fun to snuggle with Mommy around 4 a.m.
Mommy doesn't think that is nearly as much fun as Lukey does!
Luke just doesn't understand this . . .

At 10 months, Luke is by far our best eater and will eat anything so long as he can feed himself!
Did I mention he is an independent little guy???
Current favorites are scrambled eggs, havarti dill cheese, salmon, toast and strawberries.
Of course, remote controls taste pretty good too ;-)

It still seems impossible that little Lukey has been here for 10 months, but then again,
it is hard to remember our family without him in it.
He truly did complete the G Fisher fam!!!

Luke, we love you more than you will ever know.

Alli's Kindergarten Orientation

Last week, we had two nights of Back to School fun and orientations at Alli's new school. Although a bit nervous at first, Alli had a blast and is now excited to start Kindergarten next week! She had fun modeling her new LCS sweatshirt - too cute!

Cozy carpet

We had our new carpets installed downstairs yesterday morning while the kiddos were at KiDiMu.
As soon as they got home, Eli kicked off his shoes and exclaimed, "I got new carpet."
He then proceeded to plop down and stay there much of day because
"It is so cozy"
according to this adorable three year old!

His brother and sister seem to agree . . .
They stayed like this for a bit before bath time.
Then the boys got wiggly :-)

Mommy and Daddy definitely agree, the new carpet is very cozy!!!

Look who's sewing now . . .

Yesterday, Alli made a pretty pink bag from some scrap material and is so proud!!!
She wants to take sewing lessons so badly, and we promised she can when she's 7.
I have a feeling she will be as crafty as Miss Kaitlyn some day ;-)

Tooth Fairy Time

is soon to occur in Casa de Fisher!!!
This sweet little gal at 5 years, 6 months, 3 weeks and 3 days old
announced mid-morning that she had a loose tooth!!!

She let me feel and sure enough, the bottom, middle left tooth is loose and wiggly!

What's a stylish gal to do?
Why, call Daddy and both Grammas of course to share the exciting news!

What is happening to our baby???
She is growing up so fast!

Guess I better finish our tooth pillow ASAP ;-)

Tooth #3 . . .

 Has finally arrived!!!
at
9 months, 2 weeks, 5 days
and let me tell you,
Luke was none too happy about it yesterday afternoon & evening,
but this morning that pearly white was poking through and Luke was smiling.
Shockingly, it was the top, left side tooth, not one of the middle ones.
It also appears that he is working on his lower right canine.
Guess someone forgot to tell him the order of getting teeth ;-)
Thankfully, my happy guy seems to have returned this morning!

Eli is all class . . .

What happens when your big sister has a play date with one of her buddies and you want to join in the fun?
You wind up looking very "pretty in pink" down to pretty pink nails!!! ;-)
Eli was so proud!
I was shocked at how good the girls were being letting him play, then I saw this and understood :-)
He spent much of the day saying "wait for me girls"
Yep, Daddy is very proud of these pictures of his big boy!
Eli has been just enough of a pill lately that I decided these pictures were way too good to hide!

In other news, Eli had a rough day before dress up time.
This morning, while playing outside, he accidentally threw a fistful of sand in his eyes- OUCH!
Praise God for our wonderful neighbor Stacy (aka Dr. Tovarek) who happens to be a fabulous eye doc.
I tried using water to get out the sand but there was too much and I knew we needed help.
Thankfully, Stacy was home and managed to clean out Eli's eyes, and gave him some drops.
Hours later, more sand was still working its way out but he was no longer in pain.
You can see the sand coming out of his right eye in the pic above and him showing us his eyes.
Talk about scary.  We are so thankful for Stacy as she saved us a trip to the ER!!!
Eli was very proud to tell Daddy all about Stacy helping him.
I highly recommend her if you need a great eye doc, especially for little ones.

Can't wait to show Eli these photos when he is a teenager ;-)

Sweet siblings . . .

Though these two can bicker with the best of them,
they can also be so incredibly loving to one another!

I hope they will always be buddies!!!
