Things to remember . . .

There are some things the kiddos say or do that I want to remember always.
These are in no particular order, just fun memories from the past week or so.

Two weeks ago, when I picked Eli up from preschool,
he came out of his class happy as could be, which is pretty typical.
Then, in the sweetest voice, he informed me that "Mrs. MacIntosh was really good today."
The other moms waiting there got quite a chuckle,
and Mrs. MacIntosh, who heard him said "aww, you were very good too Eli!"
He was beaming!!!
Now I suspect this comment stemmed from the fact that Mrs. MacIntosh was out sick that Tuesday
and was back on Thursday, but still one of the cutest comments ever ;-)

Another cute Eli moment was this past Monday . . .

He had gone to Miss Kaitlyn's house to play with Ava and left his cars there.
I could tell he was being a bit of a stinker to Miss Kaitlyn but he was telling me about his "lost cars."
I started saying something about him choosing not to look for them
and Miss Kaitlyn tried to explain when Eli, in full attitude mode turns to Miss Kaitlyn and says
"I'm trying to talk to Mommy.". 
(i.e. stop interrupting me or making me look bad). 
Needless to say, Kaitlyn and I had a very good chuckle over that one - silly boy ;-)

Two nights ago, Alli called down to us to tell us her PJs were ripped.

G went upstairs to see what she was talking about.
From downstairs, i could hear him asking her if she was doing cartwheels
(which she does nonstop these days!)
she was avoiding the question and I heard G say "ok Alli, I'm not even going to ask."
 He came down with the ripped footie PJs because she wanted Mommy to fix them.
The next morning, she fessed up and told me she was practicing her splits ;-)

Another sweet Alli moment was when we were talking about a new prayer she was learning at school.
Alli asked what prayer her friend was learning at her school.
When I explained that you don't learn prayers in public school, her immediate response was shock
 "why not?"
I told her that you didn't learn about Jesus in public school,
she didn't seem to believe me at first and finally just said "that's weird!"
I love that she enjoys learning more about Jesus everyday!

My final fun memory involves Lukey - nothing he did, more of a
Mommy is losing it moment.

It was a school night and I was cooking dinner while the kiddos were playing in the living room.
Suddenly, I realized Lukey wasn't there and frantically asked Alli "where is Luke, do you see him?"
She looked at me like I was nuts and said, "you're holding him Mommy"
Yep, while I was cooking, sweet Lukey was on my left hip
and I've gotten so used to the feeling, I forgot he was there.
Oops! ;-)

Needless to say, Alli enjoyed sharing that as her "funny" over dinner!

Fish Pumpkins 2012

The tradition that we started the year Eli was born continues . . . 

Garrett is so creative and the kiddos LOVE carving their fish pumpkins!

Even Mommy got in on the action this year of cleaning out the pumpkins,

while a handsome little man tried to climb my leg ;-)

This year, Alli and Eli even helped with designing 

(Alli wanted hear eyes and pigtails, Eli wanted square eyes and a mouth like Daddy)

and cleaning out their pumpkins,

though they did complain about the "slime" ~ silly munchkins :-)

Luke wasn't quite sure what to think of the whole ordeal and after watching for a bit while having a snack,

he opted for crawling around the floor (on all fours!) and getting into mischief! 

Such a fun tradition for the G Fisher Fam of five!

Pumpkin Patch

A couple weeks ago, while enjoying a wet Friday Fun Day, 

I took the three munchkins to a local pumpkin patch.

It was in town and just perfect for kiddos!

Alli and Eli had a blast ~ Lukey had fun riding in Mommy's front pack :-)

There was a darling little playground, where Alli convinced me to do the teeter-totter with her.

Both kiddos loved the wooden tractor/train.

And of course the slide with hay bales for climbing!

Eli didn't want to try it, but Alli LOVED the rope swing ~ just look at that smile!

All three munchkins had fun on the hayride around the farm and meeting animals.

Then the real fun began, hunting for the perfect pumpkins . . . 

They were found!

Three perfect little pumpkins that would become fish . . . 

We will definitely be visiting that pumpkin patch again next year!

Little Miss Curly Q

Lately, Alli has been very into having curly hair and wants me to braid her hair at night so she can have curls in the morning.

I love it as it makes doing her hair easy,

And she looks super cute!

Funny, I used to get perms to get the same look ;-)

Luke {11 months}

Luke Daniel

is now

11 months old

Although he is pretty happy about it, 

Mommy is having a tough time with her baby growing up so quickly!

It seems nearly impossible that this 

precious, funny, stubborn, adorable, and very sweet little guy 

has been here for 11 months.

At 11 months, Luke is 

20 lbs 2.6 oz and 28.5 inches

Yep, still our biggest baby though not by too much 

{Eli broke 20 lbs at 12 months and Alli at 16.5 months}.

I would love to say that at 11 months, Luke is a fabulous little sleeper, but that is not the case ;-)

When he feels well, he does pretty well ~ 

going to bed around 6:30 or 7, waking to eat around 4 or 5, then up for the day around 6:30 or 7.

However, as the pictures show, he is NOT feeling well right now 

and that throws any good sleeping out the window!

At 11 months, he still needs two naps a day but with "the bigs" school schedules, 

the morning one is hit or miss these days.

At 11 months, Luke loves to play ball and be outside watching his siblings and trying to participate.

Luke also has quite the little personality and loves to "tease" and act coy ~ seriously too cute!

The little stinker kept covering his monthly sticker with his basketball.

At 11 months, Luke has also mastered the fake, camera smile just like his Daddy.

He sees the camera and puts on the fake smile for Mommy!

Luke still adores his big brother and sister but is starting to form some opinions of his own 

and lets them know when he wants or doesn't want something!!!

His siblings still love him bunches and try to snuggle and play with him all the time,

though Eli isn't too keen on sharing his toy cars and tells Lukey can't have them because he will choke.

Although that is not bad reasoning, it's very entertaining to hear from a 3 year old.

At 11 months, Luke still gets around with his army crawl but has crawled on all fours a couple times.

He is also starting to pull up and stand!

At Sunday school this week, this is how I found him, trying to play and eat playdoh!

We are in no rush for him to become fully mobile and love watching him scoot around.

Outside, his favorite place to scoot is over to the sandbox.

Adorable but we have to work on him NOT eating the sand ;-)

Eli thinks it's fun to play with Luke and the "big trucks" and Luke loves the attention.

At 11 months, Luke's biggest new accomplishment is climbing stairs . . . 

He is so proud of himself and Mommy is frantically looking for the gates!!!

At 11 months, we continue to be in awe of this amazing little blessing from God.
Luke is a joy to each of us and his smile brightens our days no matter what is happening.
He is playful, loving and very cute in all he does ~ even his tantrums are cute!
We thank God every day for you Luke and cannot wait to celebrate you first birthday next month.

G is one Tough Mudder!

This weekend, G had the chance to go down to CA to meet up with some Air Force buddies 

for the Tough Mudder Challenge

Although he is a bit sore now, he finished and had a great time with the guys!
The kiddos were so excited when he got home yesterday afternoon and loved trying on his
official, finishing headband . . .

Eli even decided he needed to wear it to bed but I missed getting his picture.  

Thankfully, I was able to convince him to hang it on his bed when it was time to go to sleep!

I hear there are some great videos of the many obstacles and cannot wait to see them.

New Tooth Report

Luke popped tooth #6 this morning

at 10 months, 2 weeks, 6 days old

And is such a happy little guy you would never guess he had been teething!

He is now the proud owner of four top teeth ~ no more gaps as the middle right one popped through.

His "gappy" grin sure was cute though ;-)

Alli's wish was granted . . .

Toothetina was selected to be Alli's personal Tooth Fairy!!!

She let Alli keep her tooth and left her 3 shiny gold dollars as well as a note.

We had one very excited little gal running into our room early Sunday morning to show us.

Alli was pretty astute in pointing out that Toothetina used some of 

Mommy's pink baker's twine and Mommy's decorative scissors.

OOPS

Luckily, she is convinced that Toothetina snuck in after we were all asleep ~ whew!

Alli was so excited to tell Mrs. Otis this morning and she cannot wait to mark it off on her chart at school!
